plz help me! Jan's age is 3 years less than Tritt's age. The sum of their ages is 30. Find their ages.

Divide 30 by 2, since there are two people.

Add 3 to one half for Tritt's age (since Tritt's older)

Then subtract 3 from the other half for Jan's age (since Jan's younger)

Tritt is 18 while Jan is 12.

18+12=30
