You need to have a large vocabulary when it comes to adjectives as well as working on using imagery in your writing (Using your 5 sense to make a picture in your readers head)
It may help to draw what you are writing and/or take a picture. try to get as many details as possible. and remember, The fancier word the better.
For example instead of saying "The Apple was red" you could say, "The Giant Apple was a lovely shade of maroon. I could see hints of yellow on it as well. it gave off a delicious fruity smell."
