well this ig gonna be more then two so lets say if there is an empty room and you wanna decorate it right you would picture what would go where like the desk,bed chair ,buckets ect so that would be one example of a mental image ....and the other one you would have to train your mind to picture what something is gonna be like a drawing ,or organizing your room , someones face ect
