A guest is stumbling, slurring his speech, spilling drinks, talking loudly and using offensive language. what would be an appropriate initial response?

The appropriate response would be: tell the guest that you cannot serve them any more alcohol and get help from the guests' friends.


Other responses that would help are the following: 


Offer the guest water or any drinks as an alternative of alcohol.


Try to get the guest to eat some food to delay the affects of the alcohol.


Make sure that the guest's friend can drive or if not, call a taxi.
