photojournalism is through photographs, journalism is through words.

In photojournalism you have to describe and explain an image that you seen in your lifetime or just recently .

For Journalism you have to write about a specific moment that you have experienced and you would not have to use a picture to describe it but your emotions or what you did during the events.
