1.       A square patio is to have an area of 200 square feet.
Now we need to find the length of each side to the nearest 0.05 or hundredths value.
So Area of square = s to the power of 2 or s^2
Area of square = 200
To get the sides of the patio, find the square root of 200
=> √200
=> 14.42136, round this to the nearest hundredths.
Thus, the size of each side of the patio of the square is:
=> 14.14 feet.
