Jeremy is doing a project.He needs pieces of wood that are 4 inches long.The store sells wood only in pieces that are in 1 foot long........

A foot has twelve inches total.
There are three fours in twelve.
So if Jeremy needs nine pieces of wood, he will need three one foot long pieces of wood from the store.
One foot=twelve inches/three=four.
